This plant got its name after the Brazilian Landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx, one of the first people that introduced native plants into the modern landscape.

Care: Pot in rich soil. Prefers filtered sunlight, moderate room temperatures (from 60 to 75 degrees F), moderate humidity, and watering once a week.
