Alocasia Frydek

Alocasia micholitziana Frydek is also known as ‘Green Velvet Alocasia,” because of the velvety feel of it’s dark green almost black leaves. The large arrow arrow-shaped leaves have thick contrasting white veins and is what gives this plant its striking appearance. The Freydek Alocasia is an aroid that is very stunning whether indoors in a pot, or outdoors as part of your landscaping. These plants can grow up to 18”. They are fond of warmth and high humidity. It should be fertilized monthly.
